Sistema IT-Alert

“Entra in funzione IT-alert, il sistema di allarme pubblico per l’informazione diretta alla popolazione. Dal 13 febbraio 2024 il sistema IT-alert sarà operativo esclusivamente in caso di gravi emergenze o catastrofi imminenti o in corso relative a:

– Collasso di una grande diga;

– Incidenti rilevanti in stabilimenti industriali;

– Incidenti nucleari o situazioni di emergenza radiologica;

– Attività vulcanica nelle aree dei Campi Flegrei, del Vesuvio e all’isola di Vulcano.

Il messaggio IT-alert, una volta trasmesso, viene ricevuto da chiunque si trovi nella zona interessata dall’emergenza e abbia un telefono cellulare acceso e agganciato alle celle telefoniche. Ricevere un messaggio di allarme IT-alert relativo a uno di questi scenari indica, quindi, che ci si trova in una situazione di potenziale pericolo rispetto a un’emergenza imminente o già in corso e quali sono le prime azioni da compiere per minimizzare la propria esposizione al pericolo, come restare al chiuso o allontanarsi dai corsi d’acqua o evacuare la zona, ad esempio.” Fonte Dipartimento di PC

  • Fire in Spain and Portugal
    Activation EMSR842. On September 8, at 7:00 p.m., a forest fire broke out in Castromil-Hermisende (Zamora), Castile and León. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping grading product, will be used to assess the damage and to have detailed maps of the affected surface and vegetation. The fire is currently under control.
